I did up until earlier this year. Whisperwind realm. Alliance.
If so what faction and what realm?

I'm alliance too, but alas i'm on a different server. What class did you play?
One 85 hunter. Also had a 80 DK and 60s Warlock.
Nice, I just started playing a few months ago, I have one 72 hunter, and now a level 73 paladin. What made you stop playing?
My cousin is a level 85 virgin.
I just lost interest and I wanted to play more games on my 360. Wow is too repe ive and too much of a grind to be the best. Plus my guild wasn't the same when Cataclysm hit. I've quit once before but I think its for good this time. I'm probably going to sell my account sometime soon. Sitting on over 40K in gold too.
Thats cool. I go back and forth playing Black ops on the 360 and WoW all the time haha.
Probably the two most played online games on the planet. I still need to try Black Ops online.
Black ops is amazing. i've had it since launch and I love the MP. They fixed so many things that i hated from MW2. Very fun. Plus your guns are more customizable.
Not since Burning Crusade.
Runescape
level 1337 dark wizard
I played a lot during BC and then picked it up again during WOTLK and joined a top raiding guild for a short while. I raided on a mage during both times (a lot more casualy the first time) but my main draw was for arena PVP. PVPed really only on my mage in the first expansion but mainly on a priest in the 2nd (A bit on a DK as well but god damn no MS made me want to punch babies).
I miss the people I played with some times but god damn games like that take way too much time to actually compete at top levels.
I played on Terenas/Alliance. Lvl 85 DK.
I was gonna start playing, but then I just decided to talk to girls instead.
This would be funny if it was a true stereotype of WoW players. You do realize WoW player base is more than just nerds and geeks? One of my friends is an ex jock in his late 30s and married but has played WoW casually since 2006.
, this chick plays WoW. Porn star.

I was just on my way back here to say "It's okay to play WoW if you are married or have a long term GF though"
I'll also add that its okay if you are a hot porn star.
Does Andrei Kirilenko get a pass too?![]()
You're basically saying tall black people isn't a true stereotype of NBA players.
The vast majority of people I encountered while playing the game were fairly normal, but when I raided there's no doubt that those people also played WAY too ing much. I can't imagine having that kind of time today.
I am married and have 2 kids, and was able to raid at least once per week. What people don't really understand is that raiding is very very easy to do and just requires solid teamwork. People tend to dive into the numbers way too much and just don't seem to realize that maybe they are making the game harder than what it needs to be.
My definition of a person who plays the game too much is someone who takes a game death/loss personally. This goes with EVERY single MMO out there.
Raiding once a week is good and all, but good luck finding 24 other people who are both good and want to do that. I tried a casual raiding guild before I quit and playing with some of those people was like pretty brutal by how bad they were. It was fun being among the first to kill (I'm pretty sure we had top 50 US kills in the instance before the LK palace and in the LK palace but I don't remember their names) and it was fun making that compe ive.
Took too much time though. Way too much.
You were not/are not a serious player by those standards.
Top guilds raid 4-6 times a week and youre required to be there for hours and hours on end. And when youre not actually raiding, youre required to be farming materials and gold for the repair bills and pots needed for the next raid encounter.
With the plethora of raid content being released by Bliz, I am sure this has only gotten worse what with all the guilds wanting to be "first" on a kill.
I cant remember the big guild on ShatterHand when I played (its been too long), but the demands were outrageous. Sure, some guilds are happy waiting for others to complete the content, write a nice strat guide that they can then follow verbatim to purples. But the serious guilds write those strats from scratch by trial and a whooooole lot of error.
It actually got easier DR. You didn't really have to farm anything and gold was extremely easy to get so you really only had to raid. But still thats 15 hours or so a week easy.
Arena/PVP/BGs were fun as though. Thats what I really miss the most about playing. That was the very FPS oriented part of the game that was extremely fun to do.
