Why celebrate when you beat the team you are supposed to beat?

08 Celtics was like The Decision of championship celebrations. So it's just gotry.

But I was very surprised over how calm the Mavs were.

He needed a moment. Tbh I don't think the mavs believed it was over. Like that's it? This is all your gonna give us heat? They will never admit it but I wouldn't doubt the mavs were shocked themselves.

True indeed, that was a messy affair to say the least.

But yeah Dirk is not a big celebrator I guess. Not everyone has that extroverted excitement.

I would hardly qualify this as the worst celebration, but who the cares? Mavs are champs they can do what they want.

Dirk should've let everyone see him cry. That would've been a great moment.

I don't think they were shocked they beat the Heat, I think it was more so them winning the whole thing after all they've been through the since 2006 and even further back for Dirk. I think they knew they could play with and, more importantly, DEFEAT anyone after sweeping the defending champs.

When you beat the Champs in such a convincing fashion is really does give you a lot of confidence. I guess some people overlooked that when they thought Dallas might lay down for the Heat.

True. The confidence was never lacking with them. And after the Lakers series they knew they had a system in place that works.

But I guess they're partying in Miami now, so it's all good.
