The biggest player choke job has to go to Richard Jefferson. It was a hard choice between Jefferson, Peja, & Labrick but the otha two helped their reeams at least two games this playoffs. Jeffersons overpaid ass didn't do , an missed the game tieing 3ptr in game 1 wide open.

The biggest team choke job has to go to MY SPURS! Sad but it is what it is. To have the record se had an to lay down in the 1st round to a 8th seed, man thats sad. Some of you spurs fans might say the Lakers but the got beat by the current Nba champs so it don't look so bad. Plus you could see clearly see that was not the back to back les Lakers out there.

The biggest choke job for a coach has to be the Okc Thunders coach with the way he just couldn'tkeep his pg under control an not calling plays for his best player to get the ball in his sweet spot. The players reflect the coach an with Eric Maynor waving off Durrant an Westbrook shows that coach don't have control over them boys. With the stupid constant one on one with Dirk as he kept lighting they asses up just didn't make any sense.

Who pulled the biggest choke job to you an how?

I can't say the Heat or LeBron choked, they advanced further than most expected, and LeBron still played acceptably in the finals and great prior to that. The Heat have bellow average centers and PG's.

It takes two-three seasons to build a great team from scratch. The C's had many new faces for the 07-08 season, the detail is that they had good players at every position and many veterans, plus a really good bench.

It's much easier when a good team adds a starter or some bench players, or when the only change is the coach. Essentially it's still the same team.

    Team choke.... what about LA?

I think all the teams you listed can attribute their loss to being an inferior team rather than to choking.

As a team, the Spurs are undoubtedly the choke kings this playoffs. 61-win team w/ championship experience getting bounced by an 8th seed with no previous playoff wins. They were a fool's gold team all year, but still nobody expected them to go down in the first round.

Player choke would have to be Pau Gasol. LeBron choked on the biggest stage though, so I have no problem with choosing him although he had only one bad series. Pau was awful in both series, played like a pussy, and offered nothing.

Coach choking job goes to Brooks

In your wild trolling wet dreams.

The defending champs getting swept by the team the Spurs ousted last year in the 1st round, that's a massive choke job, especially when you consider how strong they were after the break.

The Spurs cannot be a "gimmick" and have choked at the same time. Take one or the other. Cannot be both.

I'm going to say LA's loss was due to internal problems more so than inferiority.

Heat in the 4th qtr of game 6, tbh.

lol. So GM 5 was choking? The Grizzlies were just a better team that matched up well.

I would hesitate to blame Pau. If rumors serve true, you can blame Shannon. Can't knock Pau for going through tough times that transcend a simple basketball game.

I forgot about Pau! He he did stink it up. James had some very good moments this playoffs, so that's why I didn't say him. Jefferson was suppose to be more understanding of his role an step the up. But now that I think about the role Pau has, maaaaan! Jefferson didn't seem so bad now.

For a two time defending champ to be swept out...that's pretty much one of the biggest chokes I've ever seen. Right behind Dallas losing out to Golden State.

You just don't want to admit that your team had the biggest choke job in the playoffs, losing to the 8th seed Grizzlies without their second best player in 6 games while the Lakers lost to the eventual champs that had the same record in the regular season and looked much better in the regular season and could have had the better record if it wasn't for dirk and caron getting injured.

Team choke job is a tie between OKC and Heat for those epic 4th quarter meltdowns to the Mavs in games 4 of the WCFs and 2 of the NBA Finals respectively.

Coach choke job is also a tie between OKC coach Scott Brooks and Heat coach Erik Spoelstra. Brooks for not knowing when to cut off Nowitzki and his baseline drives by doubling and Spoelstra for panicking when Dallas threw a zone or when Carlisle inserted Barea into the starting lineup, the guy simply had no answer.

Player choke job belongs to either Pau Gasol and LeBron James. They both folded in the 4th quarter by doing something that stars never should do when they have single coverage on them.. pass the ball away

No bro, you can try to talk all the you want but it's easily the Lakers getting their pushed in and asking for more. They were back-to-back champs who most people were blowing all during the offseason saying that the 2011 Lakers looked to be one of the best squads ever with the additions of Barnes, Blake, etc. Instead Gasol leaves his nuts in his girlfriend's purse while Kobe proceeds to go into chuck mode and looks like a tired old bag. The result is an asspounding from the team that most of your Laker brethren were laughing at most of the year.

Notice I put Pop up there because the Spurs getting beat by Memphis wasn't a choke on their part, they were outmatched in the post and our best player was playing with a broken arm, nevermind that Gay was out because Memphis had been playing outstanding basketball post-ASG. But you can definitely say Pop choked and the bed and was thoroughly outcoached by Lionel ing Hollins. His player rotations and offensive/defensive schemes were awful and his refusal to play Splitter until it didn't matter anymore was some bull .
