    Browns: Ozzie Newsome

Indians: No player but it had the Jacobs Field Opening Day commemerative patch.

Never had a Cavaliers jersey. If I ever found a paint-splatter home Bobby Phills I'd be be all over it.

I also have an old CCM white Philadelphia Flyers jersey.

Rangers: one of those old ass Rusty Greer shirts that are designed to look like jerseys when i was like 5
I despised Rusty Greer. It seemed like he hit about .850 against the Indians and they were all rockets off the left-field wall.

Did you ever have endzone seats in the old Dawg Pound? I vividly remember a pic in an early-90's Sports Illustrated that showed the rowdy crowd in the endzone. One fan was eating Alpo out of the can--no lie

TBH, no self respecting spurfan would purcahse a gay pride colored spur jersey.

Also, if you are a giant fat , stop wearing size M basketball jersies, stick to the football jersies.

I only sat in the Municipal Stadium bleachers once- Tribe opening day, 1993, their last season in the old Muni. I've never been colder in my life. I sat there, froze my ass off and watched the Yankees tee off on Charles Nagy.

You had to be drunk to sit in the bleachers because it was ALWAYS freezing down there. Your back was right to Lake Erie and those winds were ferocious. I'd watch Browns games in December and January and wonder how those people survived there.

I bet Cully logged some time in the bleachers back in the day.

I've been to many Bills games, so I hear ya on the Lake Effect...your ears freeze first, then your fingers, then your toes. If you don't go to the bathroom often it almost feels like you're frozen in your seat

Btw, love Charles Nagy...Edgar stills thanks him for '97
    Shout-out to Jose Mesa too

I could smell Mesa's fear in that ninth inning. He didn't want to be out there.

    Just brutal. Thanks, DD.

Does this mean got yourself (ie paid for) or were given?

Celtics - Paid for: Pierce (given a Bird jersey when younger)
Patriots - Paid for: Brady (given a Bledsoe jersey)
Red Sox - Paid for: ManRam
Bruins - Paid for: About to get a Bergeron jersey (had a blank one before that)

To be honest, that was an epic series...no team won 2 games in a row.
That series was full of irony...
Still can't believe they went 2-0 vs. Orel Hershiser and 0-2 vs. Chad Ogea (remember him?). Ogea actually had a couple hits in Game 2 or 6 too
Tony Fernandez killed us throughout the series but his error opened the door for the win.

Jaret Wright pitched his ass off in Game 7, and until Bobby Bonilla's moonshot in the 7th he was virtually unhittable. Great, great series.

I used to own tons jersey's when I was like 6-8. Remember having MJ, Pippen, Kobe, Shaq(Magic), Grant Hill(Pistons), Olajuwon/Barkley/Drexler(Rockets), Reggie Miller, and i'm sure a couple more I don't remember. Think I might have had an Ot a Harrington jersey rofl. Needless to say basketball was my life as a kid, I remember my parents getting pissed at me every night for not eating dinner cause I didn't want to stop shooting. I stopped wearing jerseys in like 3rd grade, and oddly enough I never owned a non-basketball jersey even though I'm a huge all-around sports fan.

The last jersey I ever got was my uncle who lives in Detroit giving me a Ben Wallace jersey as a joke after they beat the Lakers in 2004, needless to say I never wore it.

    EDIT: Timmy Hardaway too haha

Up until I bought a Fitzpeezy jersey last year, I think my last jersey purchase was an Ed Reed Canes jersey (while he was still here).

I was tempted to buy a Bernard Pollard Chiefs jersey in 2008 though

Ogea beat Kevin Brown twice and we still lost the series. Moises Alou KILLED us. So did Darren Daulton's fat ass. Livan Hernandez was the series MVP but it should have been Moises Alou.

Story about Chad Ogea: during the '94 season the Indians had the O.J. Simpson slow-motion chase on the TV in the clubhouse. Manny Ramirez wanders over and asks what's on TV. Someone says, "O.J.'s being chased by the police." Manny replies, "Oh no, what did Chad do?"

    Ooooh evil.

But yeah, it's been awhile since I bought a jersey. The last one I bought was the Manny Ramirez one, and then he got traded like 2 months later.

My Brady jersey is so worn you can barely see the numbers on it (it's 8 years old now.) I usually only buy a jersey from my team once they win a championship, as sort of a monetary thank you. (I buy shirts and other stuff, but jerseys are pricey.)

    Just Manny being Manny.

Good call on Dutch, I honestly forgot about him. I think he was playing 1B for us then. CJ was a monster all year, and is still one of my all-time fav Marlins.

Time to get a Mallett jersey, imo...hopefully Beantown doesn't have a blow problem.

Sandy Alomar for us. He was incredible that year. 30-game hitting streak, game-winning HR in the All-Star Game (at Jacobs Field), home run off Mariano Rivera that turned the series around in the ALDS against the Yankees, and hit .360 in the World Series.

Strange thing was the Indians only won 86 games that year. They weren't supposed to be anywhere near the World Series and wound up two outs away from winning it all.

I was at the Browns@Bills game in 2004 when Buffalo knocked out 3 of those QBs...Garcia, Luke McCown, and I can't recall the other. The score was something like 37-7 and it was snowing/sleeting. Good drunken times
