    It just seems like the best player in the league for 9 years would've gotten more than 1 MVP. I mean Jordan has 5 and the only reason he doesn't have more is because they were tired of giving it to him.

    lol at the fools who think kobe is the best player in the world right now.

    Did they not see him shoot brick after brick in the 2nd round? The man had 1 Layup, and 0 dunks for Heaven's sakes. That stat pretty much screams that he's declining.

    that's why you should view the players comments on Kobe Vol 1-3 that I posted...it gives you the real flavor of the pulse of the players... and I will say this even though they can't vote on the award...as a ing man...what my peers in the league think about me far outweighs what some ing couch potato MVP voter thinks of me...

    Check this out....Larry Bird wanted to throw his away because those gots hating on Kobe didn't want to give him one...they knew the hate would be obvious so they had to give him the obligatory 1 they gave him...I would throw that ing back at they ass...Kobe plays for les not ing media awards...

    On the Dan Patrick Show today on AM 570 KLAC Larry Bird was asked what his opinion is about Kobe Bryant. He said that he is the best in the league and has been for quite a long time. He also stated that he is very surprised that Kobe has not won MVP so far and that after all Kobe has done, if he doesn't end up winning one than he might as well throw all of his away.

    When healthy I think Yao is probably the best player in the world right now. Unstoppable on offense and defense and probably the best big man passer in the league.
    So it goes:
    Yao (healthy)
    Lebron
    Wade
    Dirk
    K.Martin (healthy)

    Kobe is somewhere probably in the top 20 but I'm not sure where to rank him right now.
