cool... maya, softimage, lightwave, blender?
I am doing the VFX for a school project, its going to be about aliens/creatures invading earth etc etc. This is about 30% done for some of the missile strikes. Thoughts? Is it decent, suck, needs work etc?

cool,but they look like flares not really missiles. Unless i watch to many movies and missiles really look like flares or vice versa.
Its coming from an alien ship, so its not supposed to look like typical missles
Looks good so far...though, was hoping for a "ka-BOOM" afterward.
Hit me back when there's a ka-boom.
strictly AE? cool... i tried getting into video compositing a while back but i like web and print design more.

seems like the 3rd missle plays a little catchup in there though. not sure if you want anyone to be that picky though.
Ive been doing a lot of different tests so far, this is a new test I did. Does it look realistic or fakeish?
Looks pretty real but the fact that none of those people react to that blast offsets the realism of that explosion. Good job man!

Flames and blast look real...the smoke not so much. Pretty cool though.
