That is why Conley had 14ppg shooting 39% and Parker had 19.7ppg shooting 46% and you keep saying Conley looked like an all-star.

    Nothing new. Another Parker hater.

I don't get all the Parker hate. Even if you don't like the guy, he's too good of a player just to give away for a lottery pick. If the Spurs ARE indeed going to trade him away, I believe that they are astute enough that they will at least get market value for the guy.

After all, look what the Jazz got for Deron Williams. They got Derrick Favors AND a number one pick from the Nets, which coincidentally turned out to be a lottery pick.

The Spurs had better get back a young player and a lottery pick.

No, Tony Parker was garbage and you're looking at the wrong stats. Tony Parker totaled 31 assists to 20 turnovers against Memphis and thats absolutely horrible for a starting PG especially a fringe star like Tony against Mike Conley. Conley had 37 assists and 13 turnovers. Parker's PG skills are incredibly overrated.

How about ing about the arguing of the semantics of posting a trade?
I think the semantics of arguing about ing about posting a trade is the most fun to read.

By outplayed you mean the guy that got 14ppg shooting 39% against Parker? In the series Parker had 19.7ppg/5.2apg shooting 46%. Yeah, clearly outplayed.

Batum is the excellent top defender (next Pippen according to some delusional fans) that regressed in every single % statistic e became a backup SF after the arrival of Gerald Wallace in Portland ?

Sorry this trade is awful. It only makes sense if we get rid of Jefferson. Otherwise, this trade does not make any sense for us.
Those numbers are slightly skewed since Parker had two games with a high field percentage. The point I was making was that Parker should have dominated Conley and they pretty much played even and I would give the edge to Conley since he seemed to come up big when they needed him too. Stats don't always tell the whole story.

I did. Why would you bring those games up unless you wanted to discount them?

Because TP was inconsistent throughout the series. He had 2 games where he had high field percentage, which one was at 75%. Clearly this had an impact on his overall field percentage for the series. TP played badly and did not play like a 3 time champion and finals MVP. Even Pop called him out after the series. He should have dominated Conley.. plain and simple.

    So clearly they shouldn't count.

Coach Rumphumper doesn't understand the signifigance of the games lost whereupon Parker sucked.

    Sure I do.

They count more than the ones in which he didn't; they don't count at all.

Wrong again RumpH. Parker had more suck games then good ones.
Also, in Game 1, with the Spurs leading 98-96 with 31 seconds to go, the worst case scenario that should happen is Memphis ties and the Spurs get the ball back for one last shot to win. Miss the game winning attempt and worst case should have been OT at home.

The most moronic thing they could do is allow a trey. Parker sags off his man by 15-20 feet and thus Battier gets a wide open 3. That's lower then a rookie mistake.

And the good ones don't count.

Why do you get so angry when I agree with you?

Wanting Parker to be traded based on the Memphis series, is almost as bad as wanting him to be traded because of how he shattered some people feelings when he said the Spurs will probably not be contenders next year.

It's not that. Too many people here got excited off the pics from Hill and now he's their man.

That trade would have rivaled the Scola Trade as worst in franchise history. TP for a slow, ball-dominant PG who can't shoot at all and a wildly inconsistent SF who is still more of a project than a reliable player?

    Yeah, how about no.

This is the trade I'll do with Portland (and it works perfectly salary-wise):

TP straight up for Batum, Matthews & Miller
