Not from a stand-up, but it's my answer for the questions posed in the best and worst comedians threads.
My vote gos to Louis CK
I seriously laugh my ass off at nearly every one of his bits.

Daniel Tosh is actually pretty great (when he's not hosting TV shows).
Saw him live at the Majestic in Dallas. ing HILARIOUS.
Todd Barry is pretty decent too ... Joe Rogan has a stand up cd that's pretty solid as well ...
The Classic:
Yeah, big Todd Barry fan, too. His bit about his stand-up reviews was epic.
Best bit is the one about telling his alma matter that he's a child pornographer to stop them from asking for donations.
Louis is also my favorite. But I don't really watch too much stand up.
Or the "nose department" gold.
tosh is good and all but regurgitating your jokes in your second ever 1 hr special is a no no in my book. i still like tosh but i consider him a hack these days due to that last special he had.
drunkinfinakis! dude straight up sucks!
checkout matt fulchiron, he's a friend of my friend out in LA. went to his bday party yrs ago out there and met a bunch of ridiculous people, also saw the fat wannabe elvis nerd (beat the geek) get his ass handed to him by my friend in some friendly guitar hero, oh and i laughed my ass off and made fun of brian posehn when he pointed me to a pony keg at that party. LA doesn't know how to get down, none of those fools out west could hang!
Louis CK says he's more Mexican than Carlos Mencia which is true. Look it up.
Well...it's well known Mencia isn't Mexican at all, he's Honduran, so Louis wouldn't need much Mexican in him to be more Mexican than Mencia.
good ol' ned'y boy... in' fresa ass pos mencia!
Louis CK is my usual favorite, but Norm McDonald's last standup special, Me Doing Standup, was one of the funniest acts I've seen in a long time. Insanely hilarious.

Ehh just saying Louis CK has a Mexican father and dual citizenship down there which is pretty cool and blew my mind.
Anyway those exact lines are Louis' not mine. He says he's more Mexican than Mencia.
Am i the only one who just really doesn't find Daniel Tosh that funny? I mean its not terrible, but i never really just L O L at Tosh...
i used to think he was "alright" but never badass... i haven't seen a comedian worth a damn since the 80's to mid 90's... everyone now is just watered down and society loves it that way. kids today have no idea what comedy is.
I don't find his tv shows funny at all, but when he's allowed to "go blue", he's pretty great, including the "practical joke" he played on his sister by switching out her mace anti-rape spray with silly string.
And the always classic: "Butt sex is a lot like spinach. If you're forced to have it as a kid, you won't enjoy it as an adult."
Louis CK both in terms of being funny and in being prolific. Guy has a new tour every year.
There's a comedy radio station on Pandora if anyone is interested.
These are some of the comedy albums I like but everyone has different taste.
Dan mins - Crazy with a Capital F
Dave Attell - Skanks for the Memories (vulgar as but funny nonetheless)
Harland Williams - Har-Larious (this dude is ing weird)
Jim Gaffigan - Beyond the Pale (if you like safe, rated PG kind of comedy)
Louis CK - Hilarious (anything by him is good)
Mitch Hedberg - Mitch all Together
Stephen Lynch - Superhero (if you like comedy with a dude singing along a guitar)
Last edited by NASpurs; 06-23-2011 at 03:58 PM. Reason: Stephen Lynch not Lyncy... sorry
tbh I've started to like anthony jeselnik ever since watching him on Roast of, just because he has great 'asshole' humor
yeah that's the first time i ever seen that dude and tbh i thought he was going to be lame but he came out and tore the place down.
I like Louis CK, Steven Lynch, and Mike Birbiglia. I also like Tosh, but havent seen the new show.
