I don't blame them either. They scoffed at RJ's contract but took back Salmons who was a failed experiment last time. And they traded down in the draft.
They have to be making another move because this one doesn't make any sense.
Of course Parker would be lousy when the other team throws everything they have in the paint. Parker was playing incredible basketball until the Lakers decided to gamble on Hedo not being able to hit a wide-open shot. Just like Duncan couldn't score in 4th quarters in 02 when the Lakers threw everything they had at him, knowing Antonio Daniels, Terry Porter, and so on wouldn't get the job done.

Being told by a league source that #Spurs trading Tony Parker for 10th pick is likely to happen. Look for SA to target Donatas Motiejunas
So I'm guessing the Kings want to trade the Spurs one crappy contract (Salmons) for another crappy contract (Jefferson) to be fair?
So it's Hedo's fault that Tony went 4 for 18 in an all important Game 5, which the Spurs lost by 1 point. Yeah you're right I get it.
It's also Sasha's fault, Kobe went 6 for 24 in Game 7 of the 2010 NBA Finals. Luckily the Lakers were still able to pull out the win.

+10000000. Ever since TD arrived, this hasnt been about him, Tony, or Manu. Because they were always going to get theirs. It was about the role players. When the Spurs had guys like Daniels, Porter, Turkoglu, and now guys like Bonner, Jefferson, etc...they have failed. When they were winning les it was because of great help from guys like Bowen, Claxton, Horry, Barry, Oberto, etc.
Wrong. It was because they had a prime Tim Duncan. No other reason.
Fact of the matter is, the best shooters in the world shoot 35-40% on average from 3 point line. That means 60-65% of time they will fail to deliver.
When you routinely go deep in the playoffs, your role players won't always come through by hitting those inefficient shots. It's just a fact of reality, there's no way for it to happen every time. That's why you can't put all your judgement on a players ability by just a handful of games or a series. That's not fair and stupid. IMO

Of course having TD in his prime helped. But TD would have won 1 or 2 or even 3 more les in 01', 02', 04', etc. if he had better role players than he had in those years....
Wish this thread would focus on the topic. lol
Alright, Hedo was a mental midget. Can we get back to Tony Parker talk now?
I agree. Let's get back to the topic at hand....

One man's opinion. There is NO WAY John Salmons stays with the Kings. Petrie is working his magic. Stay tuned. #KingsDraft

Sure you can. That's what separates the Horry, Manu, Bowen, etc from the Udrih, Turk, Bonner, RJ, etc.
Bingo.
Agree. Why would the Spurs leak out who they are targeting.
Talking about Hedo sabotaging a Spurs le is a nice distraction (and less painful) than the hype of dumping Parker for absolute crap.![]()
Oh this would be awful. As Timvp has already stated you can't really half ass this. If you trade Parker for a draft pick you kill this team as a contender and may as well do a full rebuild.
CIA baseline![]()
I don't want the Spurs to trade TP for a ing guy that they are going to leave overseas. Please don't do it!
further proof RC and pop are idiots....wtf????\
