Any chance we take Jordan Hamilton?

@SpearsNBAYahoo: Minny trades 23 to CHI for 28, 43 and cash.
Man FO's must be really really really down on Jordan Hamilton. I expected him to go low but it's getting kinda sad. Oh well serves him right.
I hope you're right, and he really has an interest in the NBA.
NBA teams can contribute $500K to a buyout. And he was a second round pick, so we aren't bound by any rookie scale. I wouldn't mind seeing him come over this year.
4 years is a long time to wait... glad he is the board for the spurs...
Who is better potential-wise, Hamilton or Cory Joseph?
i would love if malcolm lee or Shelvin mack is there at 42...i wanna see a big with solid size picked at 29...
Exactly.![]()
Thunder take Jackson.
I live in San Diego and I can tell you, Kawhi is an athletic freak with a great motor, extremely large hands and fights for the ball on every rebound. He defends very well and has the ability to drive to the rim. Kawhi was the California High School Player of the Year his senior year and played just 2 years at San Diego State, both times...he made the All-Mountain West Conference Team.
So much for Jackson to SA.
Damn, I was hoping Reggie Jackson would fall to 29.
The straw that stirs the drink.
Gotta go with Hamilton. He could end up being an instant-offense type. Whereas Corey Joseph looked like a longer DJ Augustin, but with even less athleticism.
Joseph is nowhere near athletic to do anything near the rim in the NBA, but he's mature and good defender. Decent 3 shooter.
Hamilton is more of a score-from-anywhere type but with average athleticism.
I'd say Hamilton cuz he a typical size for his position.
So you think the Spurs are going to keep RJ on the bench with that contract?
I know it's slim, but come on just get rid of RJ's contract and I'll consider this offseason a success.
If it makes them better, absolutely.
I bet the FO is on the phone trying DESPERATELY to offload RJ for a bag of Doritos and a cup of crushed ice...
