but I will say this...while they should be protected with the same legal rights....I'm not down with the marriage wording...my main issue is that they not only want you to accept their lifestyle...ok fine...but don't tell me I have to beleive it's right....because if it was ultimately right and we all became gay then life would cease to exist on earth....and their would be nobody for them to be gay with....

My big and over arching beef was that it was written only for Caucasian males---no one else was considered a full citizen.
This sounds eerily similar to John Crow and his "separate but equal" principles.
If anyone can point out how gays being able to marry causes tangible harm to anyone, I'd be against gay marriage. So far, after countless gay marriage debates, I've yet to see how legalizing gay marriage causes anyone harm.

then why attack a religious symbol such as marriage...why not just be gay and have the same rights why the need to attack a word with religious historical implications...in the Bible it says God yoked Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve...Gays want to base their marriage prospects off a religious Biblical practice..1 cor 6:9-11....and even if I don't beleive in the Bible...gay marriage is anti-life...I don't say it to be mean but it is....if we we're all gay then life would cease to exist eventually because their would be no pro-creation....
I said tangible harm. It's no one's fault but your own that you chose to think about it and let it upset you. No one is forcing you to think about gay people getting married.
If mental distress to what you define as "normal people" was enough to make something illegal, this country would be one ed up place.
