YOu can root for Mexico all you want, that doesn't cover up how much you obviously hate Mexico when you s moved to America.
Nor does it cover up your overt racism... jerk.

People are s on both sides of this ing rivalry. I am actually a fan of Mexico anytime they are not playing the US. I can understand why people pick Mexico over the US.
Much like I'm a fan of the US NT when they're not playing Mexico...

Earlier, I was going to mention that this was probably a reason why you didn't like Gio Dos Santos (or at best, considered him an average talent)... because his dad is Brazilian...

Your Argentinean blood sensed his 'Jogo bonito' roots...

Other than injuries the only reason he's failed to "stick" on a premier club is because of his off-field partying antics...

Tottenham Hotspurs coach Harry Redknapp had nothing but praise for Dos Santos' talent... unfortunately, he also dished out some contempt for his 'clubbing ways' (completely merited btw)...

Hopefully for his career Giovanni can wise-up and mature as a person... only then will he be able to enter the elite ranks of the world's best players... IMO, as of today Dos Santos is definitely a Top-100 talent (while elite players are Top-10 talents)...

I know he's not good enough to stick in Barcelona (no shame there), not good enough to stick in Tottenham (), and can't even start in his middle of the road Spanish team ().

But yeah, clearly I don't know enough about the guy, so I'll be quiet now
Not only did he start for Racing he also saved them from relegation and was an immediate impact player. Racing tried to keep him but they can't afford him. 5 goals in 9 starts pretty damn average.

I personally don't like his at ude and arrogance, IN THE PITCH. He's always ing, pushing people around, and pretty much acting like a prima donna.

While guys like Cristiano Ronaldo act very much the same, at least CR has the game to back it up.

As far as Brazil goes, it doesn't matter in this case as he plays for Mexico. And there are some brazilian players I have a lot of respect for (Even though I don't necessarily root for them ). Like Luisao or J Baptista.

Or you could say 5 goals in 16 games, which would be pretty average too

Maybe 14 games in Galatasaray with no goals? How about 10 games with the Spurs and no goals? Or 28 games with Barcelona and 3 goals?

So far his best showing is 4 goals in 8 games for Ipswich Town... you just have to wonder why he can't stick to any one team...

Or we can ignore the fact that he joined them Midway through the season with out any prior playing time..

And why couldnt he stick with those teams? Maybe because Harry wants 8 million for him?

Is he? honest question. I mostly see him play in Mexico, and he plays as a winger/second forward...

I'll never understand how someone, who has benefited from the U.S. system, doesn't root for the U.S. over their ancestral country. I still have family living in Germany and while I hope they do well, never ever would I root for them over my own country.

I'll never understand how US fans can root for players like Adu or Agudelo who weren't born in the US yet still play for their team. Disgusting really.

    exactly

we take these s in and give them good jobs, such as cleaning our toilets for a living, and this is how they repay us?

You got me. People who use America for jobs, a better life, and an environment that doesn't have a 50% chance of being overrun by drug cartels should cheer for America. If Mexico was so much better than America, the Mexican soccer fans in America would live there.

Pretty sure you weren't serious but I can actually understand this easily because the US is built on immigration. However, I can't understand s like Rossi. :flippoff that .

Oh, if you want to toss numbers out there... 45 caps with Mexico, 11 goals...
Not that disimilar to the all-mighty Messi [not mocking him as Leo is my favorite player and possibly will be the greatest ever when it's all said and done]... and really just for the sake of validating your argument that 11 goals in 45 NT caps somehow minimizes Dos Santos as a NT player...

    Lionel Messi:
56 NT caps with Argentina, 17 goals...

extrapolating Dos Santos' 45 caps to 56 caps, puts him at 13.7 goals...

And how's this for kicks... again, just for number's sake...

    Javier "Chicharito" Hernández:
29 NT caps with Mexico (late start with the NT, here only recently in Sept. 2009), 21 goals...

extrapolating Hernández's 29 caps to 56 caps, puts him at 40.6 goals...
