Crap. Since the NBA season is likely to be cancelled, or at least be delayed by months, it would have been nice to see the various Spurs go out and represent their countries in the FIBA regional tourneys.
if there is a lockout.

He will not play if his contract isn't insured but all signs point in this direction that an insurance will be found.
hopefully they don't find insurance.
Sounds like Parker is secretly hoping the insurance falls through so he doesn't have to play. Probably wants to spend more time wtih his new teenage girlfriend.
For TP the booty > playing for home country
It's not worth playing basketball for FRANCE tbh...time loss and frustration imo.
you never miss one, u're a pure comedy poster
You'd try to bite his ankle if he did play as well.![]()

Team France began EuroBasket training today. Tony Parker, Joakim Noah, Nic Batum, Boris Diaw, Mickael Pietrus and Ronny Turiaf will play.
Now's your chance, TJ!
How does the insurance work exactly? Does the money just go to Holts pocket? If we had a salary cap in place, would the insurance affect the cap?
Parker will play most likely.
It's gonna be funny when after lockout all these out of shape players will trot back into the courts. A few of the smart ones will come in and have pretty good seasons.
all these players are playing
I do not think the lockout is going to go as long as some thing
players are threating and are planning on playing overseas...
Parker has a lavish lifestyle. He needs the money.
the french team seems to be improving. now is the time for parker to shore up his HOFer credentials by leading the french team deep in some tournament.
