    fck the druggie

if tdf was a one man individual tour...cadel would destroy contador

cadel might win it this year, seems like he has a good team this year compared to previous years where he was surrounded by due to budget team constraints....

Cadel has a great shot to win it this year. I am not a fan of the Steak eater but he is strong as . I give Andy no shot at this point.

You are not a troll at all Yes I do think he had to just to keep up with the other guys that were back then. The sport is cleaner now but still there are those using the juice and EPO. My view is that even if he was doping he still beat all the other guys that were so basically he still is a great rider.

I think most of them are fully aware that the riders are ALL on drugs but after all, the same can be said for Track and Field, Swimming, US Football and most of professional sports

You are pretty far off yes 5 years ago most were. I say this as someone who works in the industry and is around Pro teams. Not as Joe fan just blowing smoke.

Thanks for your input, I just get a little mad when I see that Armstrong is portrayed as role model and a hero. I also hate that some get exposed and others don't.

As much as I don't like him he is still and was a great rider and has done a whole lot for Cancer. He has also given a lot back to a lot of different causes. I can think of worse people who are called role models.

There are some interesting scientific studies which state that todays bikers are going faster and strong than the previous generation

Anyway, I've got a friend who has achieved 3 Tours de France in the early 2000s (he finished around 80th each time) and he confirmed me that 100% of them were on drugs.

Better, according to him, 100% of amateur riders (in Europe) are on drugs too

I am not disagreeing with your friend at all. I am just saying even in the last three years it has cleaned up a lot. Yes they were all doing something in Europe you had to if you wanted to try to compete. I am not saying the sport is 100% clean at all. It's gotten better in the last few years though. America has a lot of clean great young riders coming up as well.

Another note on drugs lots of the drugs used were to help the riders recover faster from the day before. As I am sure you know from your friend climbing 9k on a stage is very taxing on the body and having to ride the next stage hours latter. Yes they are faster then ever now the bikes are lighter the components are also better.

even if lance is a cheat, what else can they cycling body do about it besides get rid of his TDF wins? when his already pocketed millions of dollars...

TDF wins dont put food on the table, i rather take the millions and live with the cheat creditbility when imo he could care less what the outside world thinks of him

It's going to hard to prove what tours he did cheat on sure they do have some blood samples frozen. If Lance could do one thing that would move me over to his side it would be to come clean and just admit what you did. He will never though and that is sad.

I will just go a bit further and say 0% of them are clean.

Actually, I can understand them using drugs since this is the hardest sport you'll find out there. At the end of the day... well... why not allowing drugs?

I think that people are ready to accept bikers on drugs... what really discredits this sport are bikers reactions after they get caught.
You play. You loose. Just bear it and man up !

Great ride and tour by Evans. Hey Andy HTFU you pussy.
both the brothers are overrated riders, there strategy is stay on the wheel of the compe ors and get to the line, as long ur within secs of the contender you can win it later in the stages....they havnt shown me anything they are good at, whether its the time trial, chasing down the leaders...i dont think they are even good in the mountains...all they do is ride in the slip stream of riders in front of them and pounce when withing striking distance say a couple of kms from the line..oh they also have a strong team still pathetic.

lol voekler...dude is lucky to be 4th after 19th stage where fkn moron peleton (europcars team) were being idiots down by 2 mins and not chasing down the leaders with Evans in the peloton, while voekler was ahead between the leaders and the peloton, then dude gutted and got caught by Evans who did all the chasing...Voekler wasted his energy in the last mountain lmao all for nothing, his lucky to rejoin with the peloton who finally decided to chase down the leaders...fkn pathetic wankers...both the schlecks gutted from stage 19, exposed in the time trial stage20 even though they are not known to be TT riders...still pathetic though with both havin 57 and 4 seconds leads over evans, who ended up turning those gap into his favour with a 1min30secs advantage over the schlecks...

you can clearly see whose juicing by looking at how some riders ride...especially t he ones who turbo up the mountains like nothing...
