I never really knew any Jews until I got to college. But even before then (No racist) I always respected their business sense and work ethic. Generally speaking of course.

it's not even about financial status.. it's simple.. if the business owner can't pass the proposed requirements to be rendered legal then it's game over.. it's just more likely that the business owner would have a better education and good moral status compared to the 'will work for food' guy..

yes illegal IS illegal and this issue will still be dealt with.. but if the activists for deporting all illegals continue with the blasphemy.. you're digging a deeper hole with problems like the ones that had been stated in the article by the OP.. it isn't something that will be solved over night neither.. there are a lot of thing the government needs to go back and address.. it's not just this issue alone.. but at as far as this issue is concerned, why not look for a way to soften the impact of losing so many illegals by keeping the ones that are already educated and in good standing with the law? provided they pass whatever proposed requirements are given to be of legal status?

but if more states continue to adopt these draconian laws of arizona and georgia, the government is just not enforcing the issue.. they're going overboard to a point of hypocrisy.. also forcing the illegals to really start abusing government loopholes like false marriages for example..

Did you not read the article, idiot? There have been numerous campaigns by Farmers associations trying to attract employees. There has been involvement from the government were they offer the most desperate of people (like parolees) these jobs. Neither has worked. Yet you're suggesting that homeless people, most of whom are in that position due to drug problems/lack of work ethic or a combination of both, could fill that void? Why not suggest that the NBA fill the void left by the lockout with professional chess players while you're at it you idiotic got.

what i'm saying is the thing that's wrong with those laws is you can't just say 'lets wipe every illegal off the face of this country'.. if the whole country did this, the aftermath would be too much of an impact to overcome, considering it's already been proven that those jobs are going to be very hard to fill..

the illegals that were brought here without their own power.. yes the ones that were brought in as minors i was referring to earlier.. they grew up here and basically have the iden y of an american.. deporting them to their country of origin is pretty much sending them to a country that's more foreign to them than the USA.. it's getting rid of a set of people that were more beneficial than harmful to the US economy.. yes there's a percentage of illegals in that scenario..

the whole notion of these illegals coming to the usa and sucking workforce employment opportunities out of the american's hands is so overblown.. and so is the notion that all these illegals come in and pick up strawberries from the floor.. there are employed nurses out there that dont' have full legal status in Texas..

if the georgia / arizona approach were the right one, work employment would've increased dramatically by now.. i understand their aim is to flush out the illegals but there's always that portion of them that i've been referring to.. those are the ones that get screwed the most out of everything.. what about if they themselves have kids that were born here? are we going to start deporting american citizens by birth then because their parents came here illegally or even came here as minors? i'm all for solving the problem but not with that kind of barbaric approach..
