duncan did not deserve it?
I'm the first one to defend the players' right to play for their national teams.
However I take issue with your revisionist history: which team was Manu outplaying in Game 1? The All-Injured NBA 1st Team, maybe?
Second, 20.6ppg vs 19.7ppg, with worse shooting on Manu's side. And 17 turnovers in 5 games is the same as 20 in 6.
It doesn't take you much to raise one player to ultimate glory and put down the other in the mud. Truth be told, everybody sucked, and Parker didn't suck half as much as the Church of Manu (or the Church of Hill) would have us believe.
Manu is alot older now then in 2004
I know your memory is bad
Great! Just what I wanted to hear!

He's been talking about this for a while now. I don't know why anyone is surprised.
P.S. Parker will be playing too.
Who gives a , it's not like the Spurs are contenders anymore.
Uh this is what happens when you invest in international players. happens get over it..
you. TP missed LAYUPS in the first 4 games. Manu was the only reason we won 2 games. Seriously, you are a .
Nobody is surprised......... but it wasn't a sure thing that these players were going to get insured with the lockout.
It will be awesome to see Oberto playing with Argentina at home. If Argentina wins the tournament, it will be for him as great as it was for D-Rob in '03.
Parker sucked ass and there's no doubt about it. Manu played better with a broken arm, against tougher defenders.
lmfao @ all the butthurt in here over Manu playing for Argentina![]()
Duncan deserved it in '05 AND '07.
You aren't seriously suggesting that playing hurt was GOOD for his game, are you? Then what's your ing point?
I've got an idea. How about any PG who isn't looking forward to summer ball in France, and has his head in the ing game? Add that choice to your list, and see how many votes it gets.
Why the are you even here? You get what you want, watching Manu play for Argentina. Why come here to be a whiny about it? Maybe you should spend some time kidnap-proofing your house or something? http://journals.worldnomads.com/safe...rgentina-Crime
(Not as much fun having someone butt into the problems in YOUR country, is it?)

Manu is like a litmus test for the so-called talks. He knows there will be no NBA until 2012 or even then. Owners and workers live in different worlds. Holt could sell his piece of the Spurs and be 300 mil in profit. Cuban could care less if the Mavs lose $50 mil. Ditto Buss and MSG.
We need a price freeze on tickets!!!
LMFAO at anyone who has to live in a crime-ridden hole.
Are you stupid?
International players play for their NT as always. what's the big deal?
at the Argentinian "Spurs" fans.
No... Alvarez is stupid. When you come around making statements like this, what kind of response do you expect?
I'm just a little tired of people thinking they can have an opinion of the U.S. and its residents, but we shouldn't do the same. It's people like you who act shocked when the tables are turned who are stupid. Obviously you Argentinians are a little butthurt, too.
Exactly. Mostly they are Argentina fans, who happen to know about the Spurs because we have a player from... Argentina. And their biggest concern is whether or not Manu will be playing for... Argentina. That's almost like being a fan, I guess.
Now that Yao has retired, do you think all those Chinese will still be voting for the All-Star Game? I guess Houston just lost about 200 million "fans" in one day.
The ironic part about this statement is that I probably live in a much safer town or city than you, easily one of the safest places in the country. I haven't lived in Argentina since I was 1.
Hmm. Ok.
Uh?
there is a lockout and you are mad about... us?
Cry me a river![]()
He could have used some rest
But no
When you have nothing else, head for the country-smack...![]()
