arent u allowed to keep the ball if you catch it in the stands?
would you have sold it to the highest bidder, or be a dumbass yankees fan and hand it over? LOL

yah but dummy gave it back to Jeter. hahah
I would sell that back to him, giving it away, Jeter doesn't need it
Pretty stupid. Jeter would have probably cut him a nice check for it if he asked.
Experts say it would have gone for $250,000. ing pay off my mortgage if you want the ball.
"Money's cool and all, but I'm only 23 years old. I have a lot of time to make that."
HAHAH IDIOT
the guy should've demanded to tap Minka Kelly, IMHO.
He gave it back with no compensation whatsoever? What an idiot.
Even if he offered to call up Jessica Alba and Adriana Lima to arrange me a 3-way, I think I'd still take the $1/4 million. I guess it would be more enticing if Alba was barebackable.
He got four Suite Tickets for the remaining home games and a couple signed bats/balls/jerseys.
Yeah that dude is pretty dumb. "Classy" move CROFL
Even all the stuff he got from the Yankees isn't worth the amt he probably could have sold it for.
Tbh, he was probably a Spurs fan too. Only a Spurs fan could've been that classy.
Spurs fans are too classy to root for the Yankees.
spurs fan would either be too classy..or too dumb. Lets go with too classy.
It would be a very classy auction, that's for sure. Some the money would probably go to a super classy cause, like helping kids with cancer save the environment by saluting our nation's veterans..
the yankees gave him stuff but no money
just expensive tickets for the rest of the year
classless yankees
yankees should have given him an offer of 150k
dumb fat yankee fan was 100k in dept with student loans and just gave the ball
what a dumb
Heard this idea on the radio today and totally agree - I would auction it off and give half of the money to the help/scholarship fund for the kid whose dad died falling out of the stands the other day.
