I guess I'm a little suprised. Because of his compe ive nature, I thought Manu would be someone that played a litttle too long.

Really it's no surprise that he may be hanging it up and it might be the right time. He's pretty much won everything while he's been here so what else is there there to accomplish? It's unfortunate though that this may be a lost season.

Nooooo
Not our best guard !
So he may retire after his contract ends after the 2012-13 NBA season?
Thanks for the scoop, Jeff.
I am not surprised. I don't think he will stay if Timmy is not around anymore.
yeah, talking retirement. after 2013
pretty much expected.
yep.
Thread le.![]()
if he would expect a big paycut and be willing to play 12 -19 minutes a game
I would not mind him sticking here. He could be more a player coach
heck he drew a good game winner in preseason
So he's that pissed the Spurs didn't trade Parker for Omri Casspi?![]()
Two more seasons is about all he has left anyways.
How long do people want him on the team?
no s dudes an accident waiting to happen 2-3 more years max
Out of all the players I think Manu would make an excellent coach. So Manu retire as a player and then take a job as an assistant coach..
I think Manu is definitely not considering a coaching job once he retires. He was asked before in another thread if he envisions himself as a coach after retirement from the NBA and he answered no..
After his contract is up, Manu will move back to Argentina with his family and enjoy his life as being the post popular Argentinian athlete of all time.
*cough*Maradona*cough*
he's not retiring...nothing to see here...
