According to bombs survey results, U.S. sports fans don't think much of LeBron James. The "King of Zero Rings," is no longer ranked among the top 10 most popular athletes in America.

If this list was as of today, I'd think Dirk would make it tbh... Wouldn't be on there for an extended period most likely but he got a lot of attention this summer after he rang.

List is re ed, stopped reading at Derek Jeter #1. Nobody cares about baseball anymore, let alone some hasbeen, who was basically a very average player. Overrated defensively, couldn't hit for power.

LeBron is the most popular athlete in any sport right now. Maybe not the most liked, but he's definitely the most popular, bar none.

kobe dominated the popularity contest most of the past decade, lebron was hyped as one of the league best players since he first joined the league in 03 but he never reached the popular level of kobe, never been a nationwide favorite like kobe imho. he used to have a lot of fans in cleveland however when he chose to snub his team to join wade-bosh in miami he gained judas status and immediately became the most hated person in cleveland

You guys can say what you want about the money, but at this stage, Lebron just signs a receipt and doesn't feel any differently if he has 100 million more or a 100 million less (give or take). So for him it's about the notoriety. He can say he's about the money, but if that were true, he would have gone to a larger market team like Chicago, LA or NY. He could ring in NY as easy as he could in Miami, maybe easier given the two super stars there already are at least as good as what he has, probably better, and the coach is heads and shoulders above Spo.

I just got my Mavs 2011 championship DVD. In it is the game two fourth quarter comeback. I have never, ever seen someone choke as bad as Lebron did during that comeback.

His dunk attempt gets blocked by the rim.
    He misses two free throws.
He just dribbles the ball until 4 seconds left and jacks up the shot.
Spoelstra called two timeouts so that he could get someone else the ball.
Then when Lebron gets it back, it's more clanking.

What a wuss on the biggest stage in the world, he may be the biggest choker I've ever seen. The dude needs some serious psychotherapy.
