he did the same thing with the Joker, make them more realistic and practical. With the joker he made him a very clever psychopath that happens to wear clown makeup as opposed to just a goofy clown with a million tricks up his sleeve.
Now he's taking this and turning him into just a really buff really mean guy, and for the better

I was just under the impression that he was supposed to be a genius but it appears I was mistaken. Guy, I wasn't referencing the fact it could change, I was talking about how I made a point about Bane being an idiot in the old Batman to which you said "no".
But it looks like from what everyone here says, Bane is really smart, so that is good. It would seem silly to have him act like an idiot.
I am still trying to figure out if Bane will bust up the asylum and let people out and where Catwoman (lol Nolan) fits in.

I didn't disagree with Bane being an idiot in the old Batman. I quoted "From the old Batman" only, because that Batman movie was terrible and should not be used as a point of reference.
Catwoman sucks IMO.
