Parker needs to do more, Bowen I don't even know why you asked.
They should invent the hall of class for spur players imo so we can recognize the classiest players to ever play the game
First euro finals MVP, and probably will be let in for that I guess. Not that hard to get in the HoF these days

Like I said, Parker is not a HOF'er, but playing devil's advocate... one can argue that if Joe Dumars can make the HOF with a 16ppg, 4asts, and 2 reb career averages, then why not a guy like Manu or Parker?
All 3 played in the shadows of a superstar and delivered in crunchtime.
No and no. Tim pretty much seals that for them. When you give one person that much credit, it means others don't get that credit. No one has called Tony the best PG ever, nor called Bruce the best defender ever. Manu will be in the HOF, but I highly doubt Tony will and I am certain Bruce will not. I don't even think Bruce will have his jersey retired in SA.
Then again, who ing cares.
What makes TP a HOFer? This is a joke, right?
Exactly. Homerism at it's best, tbh.
Because Joe D played at a high level on BOTH sides of the ball consistently. Just ask MJ.
If Parker makes a few more all star games from here on out, than yeah maybe.
As for Bowen, I hope not. I hope the Basketball Hall of Fame is not that easy to get into.
spurs won 3 les in the time span of 5 years with bowen, while the spurs have run trophyless for years since they lost this . spurs finished as da #1 seed last season but got curbstomped by grizz in the first round b/c they had no to stop rudy gay or Z-bo. fans always tend to overlook or underestimate the impacts of a defensive specialist imho
So a defensive specialists with no all star game appearances and no DPOY award to his name should go to the hall of fame? Rodman had 2 DPOY and was the greatest rebounder of all time. Bowen wasn't "great" at any statistic. Joe Dumars (who didn't have a DPOY) could have been considered a defensive specialist, I guess, but Dumars was also not a one dimensional player like Bowen was.
Yeah, cuz it was hard to stop Rudy Gay from lookin fly in his suit on the bench. Watch the games much?![]()

lol chinaman he say Rudy Gay
Please name all the foreign starting PGs in the NBA before Parker.
Now name all of those who have won a finals MVP.
Maybe not probable, but certainly possible. I agree more French success in FIBA would help.
Manu will make it... so don't group him with TP.
If TP retired right now, there's no way he should make it.
Bowen should get his number retired in SA, but HOF isn't in the observable realm of possibilities for him.
of course you can argue that, but that's just one of the rare times that a 16 ppg stat would cut it.
tbh KC Jones made the Hall as a player with incredible averages of 7.4 ppg 4.3 asts 3.5 rpg. If that was the gold standard than 70% of the guys who ever played in the NBA would get in
UMP, calling his own plays and driving down the field.
Parker is a borderline. If he accomplished the same on the Lakers or the Celtics, then yes (see 3rd bananas like Parish and Worthy), but since he played for the Spurs, no.
Bowen is a role player, he would have to 8-peat in the 60's and be white to make the hall.
When parker becomes a GM and builds a team without any stars and wins a le then sure.
He's saying TP is a HOFer to discredit Duncan you dumb
