Both from personal experience as well as witnessing other such relationships, it certainly seems to be the case. I think it stems from insecurity, but women also don't hide the fact when they make more money. It just sets up a contentious atmosphere, be it immediately, or several years down the road.
Anybody in such a relationship now? If so your input would be appreciated.

I had to take a Business Ethics class in the fall for my grad program. It was taught by a Philosophy PHD who said that Enron was a godsend for a large amount of people with philosophy degrees. The only person I know on a personal basis with a bachelors in philosophy is making 6 figs at netco le. LOL
I guess even a psychology degree will let you continue into some type of MBA program or law, but by itself, what can you honestly do with such a ty degree tbh?

psychology degree sucks if you dont want to be in psychology or some kind of social services. But no degree is really 'worthless'

It is destined to fail. That woman will have no guilt in banging other men. Imagine being in a social gathering and hearing your husband answer people with "Im a houseband". She will be scooped up by any half decent horny guy easily.

Insecurity is a huge issue with such relationships, but women must also shoulder some blame as well. When a man makes less than the girl he'll almost always feel inadequate. If she makes more, you can best believe her family and friends know about it. You'd be hard-pressed to find a father who wants his daughter supporting the husband. The guy's own insecurity will have him take on more than one job, just to make more than her. This leads to less time spent with the family and a strained relationship.
I've yet to see a happy and sustained couple who operate under the woman>man salary criterion.

I was a farmhand on my uncle's ranch in the early 60's, but my father uprooted us to the city and I never worked the soil again.
tbh 9 out of 10 hot undergrad girls were majoring in psychology when I was in college. I would bet that has to be the #1 major of women overall as well.
