I'll steal a quote from Christopher Hitchens: If you gave blake an enema, you would bury him in a matchbox
Based on the severe butt hurt shown, it's clear the words "soccer sucks" is the giant colon clogging enema here

You must have had a boring youth. Between the ages of 10 and 14 I did nothing but play pickup football nearly everyday. Many days it was tackle.

When I hit 14 I found basketball which I played pickup games into my mid 20s on a regular basis but I still occasionally played football too although the older we got the more it trended to touch.
It never took long for someone to get hurt bad playing tackle football even in someones yard. It got old quick. We always played touch on the street......and even then we got beat up pretty good.

Yeah, we always played football and basketball as kids.....sometimes soccer after we burned out everything else.

I can't remember ever getting hurt playing tackle football. However, I have scars from basketball and to this day my knees have good days and bad.

I never played soccer as a child.

The funny thing is that I've completely lost sight of what's being argued here.

Same thing over and over again, only reformulated

But it's still a relief to come here and dump the result of eating Indian food on Blake

This article I read a couple of weeks ago explains it well.

    http://theother87.com/2011/07/13/these-magic-moments/
No matter which teams you’re watching, the vast majority of balls crossed in the air into the box are cleared by the defense.
    exactly.

you never got hurt playing tackle football?

lol "Many days we played tackle football"

Either you didn't really play tackle that much at all, or you played with a bunch of super pussies.

However, I have scars from basketball and to this day my knees have good days and bad.
    nature of the game

I never played soccer as a child.
I did. Fun enough to play organized soccer, boring as to watch, imo.

Why, because some anonymous noname on an internet messageboard thinks soccer is boring? You think too highly of yourself.

Um, so the majority of crosses being cleared is what makes soccer boring to you? Thats fine but I think you just proved DAF's point that you don't understand.

Blake saying soccer is boring = butt hurt soccer fans is pretty funny. Almost as fun as not getting hurt = being a pussy.

no, the butthurt is obvious from the responses given after I said "soccer is boring."

the futile attempts to on me after I say "soccer is boring" = butthurt soccer fan.

That is what is pretty funny, imo.

LOL yeah - cause 12 year old kids hit with the same force that adult athletes or even HS athletes do. I had the air knocked out of me a bunch, though.

lol because playing American football with young kids is the same as playing it with grown men built like brick houses

so you are saying that Pop Warner kids don't need to wear helmets and pads?

Most of us that know how tackle football works would disagree.

Lots of sandlot baseball, football (only Tackle) and basketball for me.
I grew up in the generation where the kids still played pickup games in the yard. Rare that it happens today.
