Today I learned about Google Music.

Go here
http://www.spotify.com/us/get-spotify/free/#get-started
Click on login, then click on sign up.
It will give you a space to enter in your code and you should be able to continue the sign up process from that point.
Once you've signed up you'll have to download a client but then you just search for music and play it.

You can also upload your music to the amazon cloud I think. That can be transferred to your phone.
I don't do the whole fancy phone thing...but that's what I've heard.
I forgot but I uploaded just under 6 thousand songs. I think its by song not by gig.
