If we ever get back to playing football next year, I'm wondering where this guy will end up. He's a game changer on defense and could help every team in the NFL. I don't see him re-signing with OAK either.

I'm a Buccaneers fan and I would love to see him replace our waste of a pick CB Aqib Talib. Plus I've also heard now there will be a "floor" so we're gonna have to spent about $40M. Come on Bucs.... Tiki...go after Asomugha.

Would like to see him with the Texans, but not for 20 million a year. I would hope he would settle for between 16-17 mil a year, but I doubt it.

I do think McNair is gonna open up the wallet for him though, so anything is possible. He needs to show the fans he's serious about fixing this , regardless if he overpays. For a team that has never won anything or even made the playoffs, he has the 9th most valuable franchise in sports, so its time to pay the fans back.

Other than the Colts, your division is really awful. I mean JAX and TEN are border line dreadful. So yes, I think another lock down corner is just what the Texans need. Shut down Reggie Wayne a couple times a year....just that would be worth the price. It would pretty much guarantee a playoff spot for HOU for years to come.

BTW...Andre Johnson = my idol when he gave Cortland Finnigan a "three piece y".

Andre Johnson is a football players football player, doesnt say much just goes out every single week and s you up for 60 minutes.

Back to Nnamdi, I think hes going to be needed badly cause Wade is going to want to bring pressure and hes going to be on an island. I wouldnt mind Talib also if you guys release him, I know hes been in some trouble but dude can ball.

Nnamdi to Houston. Take it to the bank.

McNair is prepared to back the Brinks truck into Aso's garage. He will give him an offer he can't refuse.

Aso to Houston. How about no.

Anywhere out of the AFC. Going to the Jets would suck.

He's not coming to Houston. Dwight Howard to the Rockets is more likely.

Also, FWIW, Mike Francesca said on his radio show today: "Nnamdi Asomugha is going to Houston" Says everyone in the NFL knows it and it's the "worst kept secret in the NFL."

I'm sure that makes Aso's agent happy. He's just getting out there to raise the price. I won't believe it until the deal is official.

As much as we'd all like another receiver, I seriously doubt it will happen. After all, have we really needed one? Owen Daniels is a legit #2 target, Foster is the top receiving back in the league and Kevin Walter is no slouch. Our offense is perfectly balanced and I think we're all just getting a little greedy.

Besides the defense costing us games all year, Jacoby Jones cost at least 2 games by himself. San Diego game and the Ravens game

Exactly, Jacoby was like that guy on the movie The Replacements fast as but his hands were made of stone. Plus their were numerous games last year where the offense didnt get going till we were getting our asses kicked. Move Walter to the slot and get another guy that can stretch the field.

I don't really like Jacoby, but saying he lost those games by himself is stupid. You can dissect the out of any game and point to any play that could change things. That being said, with the game on the line, It was Schaub that ed up in the Baltimore game and Andre that bounced the ball right to the defender in the San Diego game.

Edit: we shouldn't derail this topic, so let's revive the Texans thread if you guys want to keep talking Texans.

I mainly don't want him to go to the Jets. Hopefully he stays in Oakland, but I can't blame him for leaving. Plus the Raiders are better off trying to shed some salary and get some help in the trenches.
