In Texas wouldn't those two toy cops be guilty of felony assault? The idea of any head making $10 an hour having the same rights as a cop is ludicrous.

Security guards have the right to detain someone and even handcuff them. As long as they have cause and call the police promptly then detaining someone until police arrive will be deemed a reasonable detention.

They have the right to use reasonable force if they are attacked or harmed in attempting to detain someone.

Technically every Texas citizen has those same rights. So next time you see a punk doing something wrong at walmart take his ass down.
