Speaking of dead bugs. I grew up in Tyler and in the summer, wasps known as "katydid killers" would burrow in the ground and in the morning and evening hover around. They were ing gigantic. Everyone said they were not agressive but they still scared the out of me. Anyway, me and my friends would get tennis racquets and knock them out of the air. They didn't move very fast and were not particulary scared of people. I was a badass with a tennis racquet but I would never mow the yard when they were around. Anyway, did I say they were huge? They would catch locusts and carry them down into their holes in the ground. Easily over an inch long.
Love that movie. Watched it for about the sixth time last night.
