It doesn't make a difference who is writing it. Perry is putting out there that alot of people like. How can someone hate on this dude for that? Cause you and your friends don't like it?

I personally wouldn't be caught dead watching Perry or Grammer. After they canceled "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and "Martin" I stopped watching sitcoms entirely for some reason.

I hate on him because he is constantly taking s that are in close proximity to me. Even though I'm not dumb enough to ever step in one, the smell is unavoidable and intrusive. Couple that with the fact he gets paid to make all those terds. And it's compounded by the fact that he takes himself seriously. If a white person made all those shows, he might as well do it in blackface.

The amount of rich people that contribute nothing but garbage to society could probably shut down this thread. Tyler Perry isn't special. Personally I've never viewed any piece of media he's created for more than 1-2 minutes.
I disagree. Tyler Perry has to be somewhere near the top. I can't think of one person who has written, directed, and been responsible for more ty movies and television as he has.
although I guess that may be the view that many blacks (and whites) have of Woody Allem.
