Getting close to two months since the championship was official. It's sad that in DFW, people are nut hugging on the Cowboys right now. The Mavs won a damn championship and no one's talking about it. I know football is king in Texas but come on, the Mavs are the best team in Dallas right now and have been the best for a long time.

My brother and I were talking about it the other day. And he was saying that he would still be very pissed if the Mavs had lost. I know I would be. That's why I'm so glad the Mavs won. All of those years of failures and letdowns were washed away with this championship.

One year ago today, me and a couple friends were at the game 6 AAC watch party. $5 tickets to watch the game on the huge jumbo-tron in the arena with 20,000 other Mav fans. The place was packed and LOUD for not having an actual game. Still got the final 2-3 minutes recorded on my phone of everyone going ape .

The line to get the finals newspapers and merchandise like hats and shirts literally went around the entire AAC concourse. Everyone was singing "We are the champions".
