Durant.![]()
Dirk is averaging 8.4 rbds per game in this playoffs, that's below average for a star bigman.
Durant averages 7.7, that's above average for a star wing.
So IMO the rebound argument isn't fair.
And the "passing" and "efficient scoring" argument is bull too:
Dirk: 1,4 pts per shot - 2,8 assts per game
Durant: 1,4 pts per shot - 2,7 assts per game.
Neither guy is particularly good at facilating others and they are both equally efficient.
It's a tough choice but if I had to choose I'd rather have Durant at SF than Dirk at PF.
Tbh two amazing performances, Durant's team didn't show up with him tonight.
Dirk was better though.
Where did you get those stats? In these playoffs:
Dirk: 38.4min, .517 FG, .600 3PT,.922 FT, 8.2 RBD, 2.9 AST, 28.5 PTS
Durant: 41.6min, .465 FG, .381 3PT, .839 FT, 7.7 RBD, 2.5 AST, 29.8 PTS
Higher FG, 3PT, FT = more efficient and Dirk does more in less minutes.
at efficient scoring being bull . You must love Allen Iverson.
By the end of both of their careers, Durant will be considered greater.
pretty even. whoever outshines (or out FTs) the other in this series will get to the Finals.
Those stats are prior to Dirk's monster game 1.
Dude, learn to red.
Hmm, I'm doubtful it would be much of a difference even if you count that one out because Durant didn't exactly have a bad game either.
It was like that. Take away the stats from the last game and do the math.
F*** dat sh!t. I don't see Durant being the #1 guy on a championship team. Didn't see any fire in him in the crunch. No way he's better than Dirk all-time at the end of their careers.
Hey, homie, tell me how Dirk's ASS TASTE!!!
Didnt the Thunder win the FT battle handedly?
Dirk 61FT
Durant 49FT
Never doubt Che
and I do agree when it is all said and done Durant will be considered better
The Thunder won the FT battle.
Also, show me how Durant's gonna grow a set of ballz enough to win ta le. When it's all said and done Dirk will have more rings, period. And I always douby the Che cuz the Che ain't sh!t.
LMAO blazers in 5
LMAO lakers in 5
LMAO thunder in 5

LMAO spurs in 5
LMAO never doubt che
I actually came away quite dissapointed from Durant. Given that he has taken Dirk's spot in the 1 All NBA team the last two seasons, I think the series proved that he is still wayyyyy behind Dirk's level.
Durant's scoring in the regular season really hides his deficiencies a lot, but the guy clearly needs to add a lot more to the game. Once good defenders got a hold of him, Artest last year and Marion this year, he really had no option B to his game. Much different from where Dirk is right now.
Lock the thread. Seriously, who is Kevin Durant and why is he in the same sentence with an NBA MVP, Finals MVP, and mother ing CHAMPION.
LOCK IT
