Seriously, A&M is a pretty good school, but why an Aggie would ever want to claim Perry is strange as .

For the record, there's at least one Aggie (me) who doesn't look at Rick Perry as a hero.

I don't know why everyone gets the idea that Aggies are in love with Perry. I'm just saying grades are the best way to judge a person, imho.

If you were to go on TexAgs (the biggest TAMU board on the internet) you'd find an abundance of Perry haters, I'd say about 60-70% do not like him. Many people at A&M don't like Perry one bit.

    Which is more important:

A.) Getting a D in an economics course
B.) Adding 250,000+ private sector jobs in a year
if he had only gotten a C, just think how many more jobs might have been added.

But you support him. Otherwise you wouldn't be propping up that phony job record. Do you have any other GOP talking points you want to bandy around?

LOL @ aggies all pumped up for their moron yell-leader hero to run for POTUS on his record of creating a bunch of minimum wage jobs and governing a state that happens to have an abundance of natural resources.
    Have you met boutons?

I'd vote for him over Obama. That's where my support ends.

Do you have any more GOP talking points you'd like to avoid? If you want to continue talking about grades, where'd you go to school?

Oh my. Aggie Fan want's to get into a pissing contest with everyone about where they went to school. You're like the stereotypical Aggie with the little-brother complex.

Everyone talking about grades it's interesting to see where they went to school, if they did. It's easy to be on a high horse when you haven't had to do anything yourself.

Also, I'm not in a "pissing contest" with anyone. I'm the one saying that grades shouldn't matter. If anything, I'm discounting college education by saying that. I'm asking out of curiosity.

No one, as far as I know, but to bring up college grades from decades ago as opposed to judging a person on their actions is downright stupid.

A better illustration towards your point would be this:

    Which is more important?
A.) Getting a D in an economics course
B.) Being good at your job

Rick Perry's job is to win elections. He's very good at it. Poor grades at A&M have not hindered his ability to be good at his job in the least.

I don't understand why you think that is stupid. You don't think the POTUS should be able to manage to squeeze out more than 2 A's in his entire college career? That transcript is really pathetic/laughable. I think the only reason you've rationalized that grades don't matter is because of you're hatred for Obama.

Technically his job is to govern, and it can be argued he has not done a very good job of that.

Perry has sucked at his job as governor, imo.

His earning bad grades while trying to learn about intelligently designed farm animals just confirms his uneducated, ignorant piece of mystique, imo.

    lol Perry

4 of the 5 that I talk to regularly have absolutely zero interest in Rick Perry... The other one is ambivalent.

I guess I shouldn't expect the average person to know the difference between you're and your, either.

I don't buy into grades, I buy into actions. As I've said, I'm no extreme Perry supporter by any stretch, but I'd take him over Obama. I'd say Obama's qualifications were laughable too - but that didn't stop you from voting for him, did it?

Technically his job is to govern, and it can be argued he has not done a very good job of that.
That's what people like to believe, but in my admittedly cynical point of view the actual act of governing can't be a politician's job because they're rarely held accountable for how they perform at that function. Performance in elections is what matters. Performance at governing isn't completely irrelevant, but it's undoubtedly a minor factor.

He didn't need A&M to learn how to comb his hair just right.
Further testament to the irrelevancy of his grades.
