he's a dumb .
i'm not really a perry supporter but why hate on Ds in OChem, that 's hard and 90% of the pop would prob. get Fs
he's a dumb .
sad testament to the ignorance of voters
The only reason Perry was bombing his science classes is because he doesn't believe in science. It's just voodoo anyway.
Couldn't even get an "A" in P.E. (must have been required back then)... pathetic.
What? All voters are Aggies?
DING DING DING, we have a winner.![]()
On a somewhat related note:
Rick Perry will reportedly ‘make clear’ he’s running for president on Saturday
As ty a president as Obama has turned out to be, I don't think anyone is itching to vote for another Texas governor.
Given the choice between Obama and another Texas Governor, I'm thinking some people might start scratching.
I agree with CG that ultimately his grades will be irrelevant. I also think that's some sad social commentary.
A survey conducted by Bloomberg in 2010 show that the school of hard knocks was the number one source (tied with the University of California) for CEOs of S&P 500 companies. Harvard was the #3 source (along with the universities of Texas, Missouri, and Wisconsin). The school of hard knocks features CEOs who never graduated from college.
I'm betting you'll find a few Democrat politicians in the "Hall of Fame," as well.
I go to U of A, have a 3.5, and passed out of the math classes Perry was too stupid to take before I even started college, so forgive me for thinking that getting 2 A's in an entire college career with the curriculum Perry had is pretty pathetic.
What S&P 500 company had Perry as CEO?
Which is more an indictment on America than it is a tribute to Perry. The average American being a dumb construction worker with no post-HS education who views anyone with a prestigious educational background as an "elitist" is everything that's wrong with this country.
Democrat.Alfred E. Smith, governor of New York and presidential candidate. Left school at the age of 14 to help his family after his father died. He would later joke that he received his FFM degree from the Fulton Fish Market in New York City.
Perry graduated college. He just had a lot of ty grades.
And, as I scroll through the pages looking for Democrat politicians, I keep coming across the phrase, "billionaire founder."
Like I said before, Success is rarely delineated by education.
Did you really just post a link with Troy Aikman as an example for school being unneccessary?![]()
leaving college to be the #1 overall pick in the NFL draft with millions instantly guaranteed being considered a "college dropout." That site isn't reaching at all.
On the other hand, I've seen some pretty stupid Harvard Graduates.
One might conclude that it is the schools whose reputations have benefited from the quality of the students that have chosen to attend them than the other way around.
Smart successful people tend to do well -- regardless of whether or not they have a Harvard degree...or a 4.0 at Texas A&M.
Christina Aguilera also being on the list
Idk how she made it as a singer and entertainer with no college education!
It's a pretty big data set, you can choose to cherry pick the examples that suit your mockery but, that wasn't my point.
Define "rarely".
I would be willing to bet a good deal of money that the highest paid CEOs and CFOs in the country invariably have masters+ degrees, and got those well before coming to their current positions.
The days of non-college grads going on to start/build massive companies is rapidly coming to an end. Impossible, no, more and more improbable, yes.
