Yeah. No . I hadn't even thought of that. How was she even able to fall in. I don't think I could intentionally fall into one of those head first. Unless maybe she was 7 feet tall.
And how slow was her death? If she was stuck in there, any kind of movement should have tumped it over.

She was probably some old neighborhood and a couple of kids stuck her in there as a joke.

well perfect example, look at that picture. There's a retaining wall right beside it. Even a small child could fall in there. And as far as not being able to move, she may have given herself a concussion or whatever that dazed her, or at least something to that extent. And if she was a bit of a fatty and her arms were stuck to her side then..

Yeah, but she'd have had to be up on the retaining wall and climing over the open lid. It's pretty unlikely.

After thinking about it though, it has to be assumed the bin was full or partially full. Otherwise, what was she doing trying to get into it anyway. So maybe it was heavy enough and she was tall enough for her to pull it off. But I suspect foul play.

I'm guessing she was trying to get something out of it that was towards the bottom. And the back of the bin doesn't have to face the elevation that I'm assuming was there, it could have opened to where the lid was on the side

Maybe. But she'd have to be nuts to think she could get anywhere near the bottom of the bin.
