because he is overrated. hes just the guy that ed that he wouldnt play for any other team but the lakers & lucky for him he got his wish. switch out kobe with t-mac or micheal redd in there prime and the 3peat would have still happened.

I know of the stat argument. Laker fans always use it, but like I said, Shaq drew the attention of both TD and Robinson. The Twin Tower defense is going to change a normal team's statistics and strategy.
Try and imagine, how Kobe's stats would drop too, if two Bruce Bowens were guarding him on the perimeter... then also hypothetically insert offensive talent into the twin Bowens, so that Kobe had to use energy on both sides of the court... his stats would change.
