you keep failing. this goes back to my main point of having his career handed to him. he would have gone sooner in the draft if he wasnt ing on draft day. teams passed on him due to that.

lol Have I even made any argument? Well except that Deuce Bigalow, no matter how big of a deucebag he is, has so far posted correct stats.

Busy with football scrah (lol soccer). Going to be fun to watch Barca take a dump on RMou. Even more fun to read joshdaboss (leave Cristiano aloneeee ) rant about how Messi=GOD is overrated (31/0 ).

o yea those where the games where shaq was pulling double & triple teams. i remember those games.
Why would you double triple team shaq when you have two legit 7 footers to protect the paint? that makes no sense, Pop is a HOF coach .... that would be stupid. I agree shaq was the focus of most defenses back then, but no need to exaggerate to argue an obvious troll attempt.

The Spurs aren't making the playoffs this season. That was the last hoorah last season. Like a dying man gasping for his last breath.
That dying man finished ahead of Kobe in the standings.

6-24 and Shaq's dominance, the things every non-Lakerfan will remember Kobe for.

Fair points ... TBH, but Kobe haters love to throw 6-24 around ... so these stats won't matter.

but isnt 10-27 for a 7 footer just as bad?
    to me it is

kobe makes up for that by out-rebounding the big 3 combined
    rebounds
    Kobe - 15
    KG + Peirce + Allen - 15

o yea those where the games where shaq was pulling double & triple teams. i remember those games.
Not picking on you per se, because I've seen this argument before. I watched the video to see how many times in this case Kobe scored off a Shaq double team. Not saying this is the norm, you would have to research all Kobe's points against the Spurs with Shaq on team in all playoff games to prove your point, but it doesn't hold up in this example. The rotations the Spurs used were horrible.

Finally, I saw a Kobe score off a double team of Shaq example, at the 2:49 mark. Kobe is defended by Bowen at the 3 point line, and passes in to Shaq, who is guarded by Duncan. Can't see DRob anywhere. Two Spurs are at free throw line, kind of guarding some non-threats, and either could have rotated to double Shaq. Instead, Bowen leaves Kobe open by 15 feet to double up Shaq. Kobe sinks an easy 3, his first in the series with assist to Shaq.

At the 3:46 mark, Shaq has ball in the post and is again guarded by Duncan with Robinson in the vicinity. 2 Lakers are not even on the screen, one is Kobe. Two Spurs are standing near free throw line, top of key. Those missing Lakers are their responsibility. One Spur finds a guy to defend, the other, Antonio Daniels, leaves Kobe open by 15 feet to run toward Shaq. Shaq passes to Kobe for another 3. Tim and David had Shaq covered just fine, a triple team was not needed.

At the 4:22 mark, ball goes into Shaq in the post, 12 feet out and single covered by DRob. Shaq isn't even looking to make a move, he's looking to pass, and does twice. On secnd Shaq posession, Bowen leaves Kobe again to think about doubling Shaq, but only by 5 feet. Another 3 by Kobe, assist to Shaq. Bowen contested, Kobe just made a clutch shot. Tie game, 85-85 with 2 minutes left.

Score remained same until last play starting with 25 seconds left and Kobe rebounded a Fisher miss for the win. Shaq was a spectator the entire play.

I think the post at the top of the You Tube page says it all nicely:

Where are the Kobe haters? They like to pretend like Kobe doesn't play good in the playoffs. The Lakers would have lost this game if it wasn't for Kobe. Kobe and Shaq were equally important to this team. This video doesn't say anything different. If anybody replies to this trying to change my mind, then you're just gonna get embarrassed with facts.

Anyway, I invite both Lakers and Spurs fans to prove or disprove the theory that Kobe scored so well against the Spurs because Shaq required all the attention. Right now, it isn't looking good.
