Maybe you could check with the school and see what's up instead of believing your elementary age daughter...just a thought.
Then again, I trust you will get the correct answers you seek in this forum.
My daughter attends a NISD elementary school here and told me today that they are not served milk anymore and are given water for there lunch drink. Is this a part of the Perry budget or a White House caused problem?

Why aren't you homeschooling her and providing her with food from your own pocket?
You get free water and complain! Here's another example of en lement mentality!
My 4th grader is not into politics and wouldn't come up with this herself but thanks anyways!
I think it's likely the 4th grader was quoted out of context.
My 4th grader was told it was Perry's fault by the lunch lady!
You are to blame. You are the one who enrolled your daughter at that school.
Milk is too fattening and leads to lactose intolerance.
Water is good for the kids, and with 110 degree days around here, necessary as well.
When mine was in 4th grade, he came home with a note and told me the school was going to look at his privates and needed my permission. The note said the school was screening for curvature of the spine and that boys and girls would be screened in private areas.
But teachers can be notorious with our children
lol he totally called your daughter a filthy liar
Not necessarily, it wouldn't be the first time teachers tried to influence parents votes through their kids.
Was the lunch lady an illegal alien?
My guess is that they got tired of the kids that didn't want milk wasting it and made water the default beverage with milk as an option if the child wanted it. Their published menu clearly states that milk is available at every meal.

local school cafeteria drink selection clearly falls within the executive power of the POTUS. but why stop there? I bet you can trace this all the way to the UN.
maybe you speak with the prinipal first
Well the POTUS is technically the lunch lady's boss...so I am thinking impeachment..
In third grade, we had this teacher who said that Hanukkah was a Mexican holdiday. A Jewish boy in the class tried to explain that it was a Jewish holiday. So she sent him to the office.
got further details here, apparently oak farms is run by some big conservative and he tried to raise the cost of the cartons to .33 cents from .09 cents he blamed the WH for this and the district said no!
Oh bull . ing troll.
for not getting into politics, that seems to be a lot of political information for your 4th grader to be handing to you.
"and a child shall lead them"
No .
Nobody is going to contract high volume sales at a loss.
$0.09.... Absolute BS.
Has anyone contacted the school district for the truth?
