I had to leave after the first half and just got home. Conceding 8 goals is inexcusable, no matter who is injured or suspended.
I just don't see any defensive concept by Wenger. Thinking offensively first is fine and all, but is not everything in football. That being said, the quality of the squad is just poor these days. One borderline world class player who has yet to go through a whole season without injuries, that is all. The rest are either mediocre players, unproven youngsters or just plain bad (Djourou for example).

alot of the bigger clubs are gettin rid of players like barca, real madrid etc...get them. at least you can get a bargain for veteran proven players...

Seems like Brazilian Andre Santos is coming to Arsenal from Turkey with a €7m fee.
I just don't get it. Targeting players earlier this summer could have:
1) Encouraged unsettled players to stay as Arensal, as it'd show they were serious about a le run;
2) Even if the players left, they'd have replacements.
Instead, they did nothing and waited for their best players to leave. I finally know how it feels to be a Suns fan.

Santos would be a decent signing, I guess. I'll have to admit I don't know much about him, though. But Arsenal need a LB, and he would add some experience.

They didn't leave, they were sold. If they really didn't want them to leave, all they had to do was say " off" to other teams. Especially with Cesc, who had a contract until 2016.
