    BTW Do any of you think Friedel would start over Howard if wanted to play for the U.S.? He's had a great year so far. I know the scores against the Spurs don't show it but he's been their best player by far. Only one error I can think of.

    I really really really doubt it. Pretty hard to get better than the way Howard plays for the USMNT.

    I agree, but Friedel is pretty amazing himself, especially when you consider his age. It's really really odd how the U.S. can keep pumping out these great goalkeepers.
