Yeah..that's one of the things I didn't like. Today, I had a guy throw a lob, and he took control of the receiver and I don't know what the he did, but he accidentally moved the receiver COMPLETELY away from the ball. it was just my player on the sidelines and the ball being lobbed into his hands...he dropped that . A couple of plays later, he threw a bullet that Bradie James jumped 20 feet into the ing air to catch..pretty strange.
Both madden and NCAA, for whatever reason, have designed their games in recent years such that linebackers make Ed Reed-like ungodly plays in coverage (one handed interceptions of balls 12 feet in the air, etc.), while corners drop picks thrown right into their chest.
Not sure where they got it from...doesn't make any ing sense. And you always know when it's going to get picked, because they take off like they've got a ing rocket up their ass.

Well, the defense knows what play you pick. Seriously.
It'll be 3rd and 20 and you can line up in 4 WR shotgun set with 1 back, and it be a draw play, and they will be playing a 4-3 ignoring the receivers playing the run.
The only way to not have the cpu know what play you run is to audible at the line.
EA admitted they were aware of this issue after last years game...AND STILL DIDN'T ING FIX IT.
