Plus Dirk never needed to play a bunch of all stars to win a le, nor has he ever demanded a trade. Kobe on the other hand has needed the most dominant center of all time to win his first 3 les, and then the best PF in the NBA in '09 as well as the 2nd best C in the NBA, six man of the year, one of the best defenders in the NBA as well as one of the most clutch PG's of all time, that's a staaaacked team. What are the chances of actually assembling that kind of talent?

I think the Eurobasket will help Pau rediscover his touch. Man- s will be better too. I hope Pau stops playing like a girl vs Dirk though. That was the entire story of the series. Had he played well in a single game, they wouldn't have been swept. There's still that possibility that they may have lost the series, but it would not be this embarrassing.

Same problems still linger though. Going to war with Fisher and Blake is just so laughable. I wonder how Lakers fans can put up with that.
