son there are only about 3 or 4 QB's in the NFL who could bring a team down the field with a minute left and no timeouts in that situation and Brees is one of them .... he's en led to make his own calls like that lol.

right ... it was a long shot to begin with considering they would have had to do it twice with the 2 point conversion, but it just goes to show you how good Brees is in those situations. I knew he would at least get them close as long as he had at least 45-60 seconds to work with. its a shame they couldn't have pulled it out, but they looked good tonight with the exception of a few plays. the defense obviously needs some work, but considering who they played it can only get better.

a couple of calls Payton made tonight do look questionable now, but I would rather a coach with balls than someone who plays far too conservatively.
- the 4th and inches call still wouldn't have made a difference and I support him going for it, but I'd say that most coaches would have taken the 3 points
- the final play of the game I agree with you. I didn't like it at all. I would have rather Brees throwing the ball on the 1 YARD LINE than that up the middle . I just knew that up the middle wasn't going anywhere.

Son i think he should have gone for it on 4th and inches, but i think if he was going to use a play action he should have kept Ingram in the game cause he pulled him out and that just screamed play action.
well son its just one of those things that didn't work out tonight. I'm proud of them s in black and gold though. nothing to be ashamed of. I'm predicting an 11-5 season
