Because when they left, there were assurances from the rest of the conference that they would hold together. I guarantee you that if realignment had happened last summer, Baylor would've gone biblical.

Just my opinion, but (a) they paid an exit fee and (b) when they left the conference the Big 12 got that new TV deal and the confernece wasn't on the verge of collapsing, well at least Mr. Beebe saw it that way.

We aren't actively preventing others from doing what's best for them. Baylor is doing that to us. Baylor looks like the crazy ex girlfriend trying to drag her boyfriend back with her.



Baylor, Texas, and every other University out there has the right to do what's best for them, and they should. That doesn't mean I'm not going to talk massive amounts of to baylor for holding us back from what we want. them. I've not once said that Texas shouldn't take money and do whatever they can to bring their program to success. That doesn't mean I hope the lhn fails miserably...
