Lets be honest, even alot of you Dirk homers (who now ridiculously rank him as the 2nd best PF of all-time ) gave up on the Mavs because it seemed like year after year Dirk and co. always found a way to up. Now that the 5th best PF of all-time has that monkey off his back, has Antonio Ramiro Romo stepped into that vacated seat in Dallas?

Im a Cowboys fan, so I definitely dont want my Romo to be the new pre-2011 Dirk...but with all the botched snaps and untimely interceptions its really starting to look like this wont ever lead us to the promised land

Actually Tony Romo is like the current Lebron James.
Despite Jame's short comings, he still regarded as an elite player who is arguably the best player in the NBA. Romo on the other hand is not regarded as an "elite QB" and is not arguably the best QB in the NFL. How is Romo like Lebron?

PS - I the biggest Cowboy fan you gonna find.

Poor comparison. Tony Romo is easily the most mentally weak QB to ever play the game. Super-talented, but terribly unclutch and just plain stupid. Dirk was never a re , and he still had clutch moments amidst his team's failures. Romo is just a stat- , and has one playoff win on his resume despite playing on some crazy talented teams.

Yes, tough loss yesterday and Im having to cope with the fact that Romo is the pre-2011 Dirk Noringski.

Amidst his team's failures? had his clutch moments but he also had his moments were him disappearing was the reason Dallas lost. I think Romo is more comparable to Dirk than LBJ, since LBJ didnt blatantly choke until this year imo.

Every bit of Tony's potential went down the drain the second he fumbled that FG against the Seahawks. He will never recover from that .

41, with half the goods. Dirk though, unlike Romo didn't chronically crap the bed.

At 15 down though Dirk saw the light.

And Dirk has never blatantly chocked in the playoffs either. There is no player in the NBA or NFL you can compare to Romo. His sorry ass is in a league of his own.

Dirk choked plenty of times prior to 2011 tbh, most notably in 06' and 07'. Romo is one sorry ass piece of though unfortunately.

Nahh, Tmac wasnt really surrounded by the talent and payroll Romo was/is. And he wasnt really unclutch, his playoff numbers were solid the just had no help. I stand by my opinion that pre-2011 Dirk is the most comparable to Romo.
