That had to be one of the easiest sweeps we've had all season. Rangers train comin to Seattle.
If we hold the lead we have right now, the final series against the Angels won't matter. Just hold the lead.
Hopefully the A's can hold their 5-1 lead on the Tigers in the 9th inning and not choke like the White Sox did last night. We'd be one game back of Detroit if that holds.
Meanwhile, I can't wait until Cruz is back in the lineup. We'll be fully healthy for the first time in forever. What's the ideal playoff lineup look like?

Obviously the bottom could be ordered differently. And Beltre could move back into the cleanup role. But I don't think you can put your best hitter all the way down to #5. And Young is our best hitter.
But if the Rangers have that lineup ready to go for the ALDS, I'll be stoked. That's a pretty sick #6-9 going on there.

yeah that's a pretty disgusting lineup. Just got to stay healthy in the stretch run. Don't bring back Nellie full time until there is no doubt he is ready. Definitely gonna see him DH in his first full game back.
