Whoa whoa whoa. "Minimum" and "recommended" kinda freaks out/confuses people here. I'd highlight those words.

    My point is, 25GB!!!!

Thats not much for most of us here (I hope) but that is quite a bit.... The last game I remember even coming close to that is Dragon Age: Origins which was close to 20GB.

I think it would be safe to assume that the average person doesnt have more than a single 250GB HDD. I personally have a primary high-speed HDD of 500GB and a secondary HDD of 2TB for storage (along with four 2TB external drives) but I think it would be safe to say that most dont have that.

25GB for one game is alot of space for the average person....

Then again, I dont see many "average" people running RAGE so it may not be that big of a deal.

yes I know. I saw the bold type. I just posted that cuz some people have a hard time with the concept of "minimum" and "recommended".

Oh and I don't think the 25Gb should matter much to anyone. HDD are so cheap these days

I remember when Diablo II freaked people out because it required something like 2.5 GB to install.

Yeah, I built a modest PC in October 2009 that has a 1 TB in it. I'd say most computers (especially desktops) bought within the past few years should have at least half a gig.

Well its technically not wrong. Can you imagine trying to run Windows 7 on a PC with a 500 mb HDD?

Good point! Although the last computer I had that didn't have at least half a gig also ran Windows 3.11 For Workgroups.
