The Answer is Iverson
it, ima start this thread in the right forum.
Since the lock out has got us to making stupid ass comparison threads I thought I'd start one of my own.
There is no doubt in my mind the Lakers would have won the same amount of championships through 2000-2002 with Allen Iverson playing 2. Shaq was the first option on those teams. Mitch Richmond would have had him a couple of rings. A debate can be made about about 2009-2010 maybe. In my opinion the same applies to those championships to.
So who was the better player?
The Cornrowed God or The Colorado Rapist.
Even the biggest Kobe haters wouldn't take A.I over him.
ZING!
/thread
AI was more talented
Kobe just a better player
Iverson never played with Shaquille O'Neal or Pau Gasol. I'll take Iverson, better numbers and more unguardable.
If AI couldn't win with the juggernaut Eric Snow, he's ing useless.
Yeah but it was just practice.. practice.
Practice, what practice?
Even Kobe fans won't take him over Iverson, what makes you think that haters would pick this raping snitch over The Answer?
lol people thinking Iverson would play with Shaq or any other player better than him.
Matt Bonner
Yeah, but that's not the point. In my alternate universe Kobe plays for his hometown Sixers and Iverson spends majority of his career with the Lakers. I say the Lakers win the same amount of championships from 2000-2010.
I don't think they would beat the Pacers with AI instead of Kobe. Kobe was a good parameter defender back then and AI just disrupted passing.
Iverson was the greatest 30% FG shooter in basketball history...
Nobody could put up 30 taking 35 shots like he could..
GSP is the best mma fighter because he holds them on the ground for 5 rounds. right? RIGHT? ANSWER ME GO DDAMNIT
So what you're saying is that he's exactly like Kobe and therefore this is an excellent debate.
pretty much. mine as well go with the one that didnt commit rape & rat out his teammate.
Iverson easily, the dude doesnt even have to practice
