2-0! Rex with a couple of picks early (only one was his fault) but damn if he didn't keep his head down and help earn the Skins another win. Running attack looks like vintage Shanahan with more than one back doing well. Defense looks WAY improved and Kerrigan looks like a beast.
Afraid that Lucy is going to pull that ball back again but so far excited.
I was waiting for the infamous Hightower 30 yd run followed by a red zone fumble.
He held onto the ball real tight this game to prove something.
Helu is the one that did the real damage in the 2nd half today. Was freaking AWESOME.
Skins need to win in Dallas next week...that team is completed depleted on offense and Romo is banged up too. Skins have a great chance of going 3-0, w/ 2 divisional wins to boot.
This, Hightower wasn't great or anything the Cards' run defense just sucked something awful. Idk why Hightower got so many carries over Helu, Helu is better and is a more explosive runner.
I also don't know why Hightower said this game was "something personal". The Cardinals might have been the only reason he was even drafted and also gave him tons of carries/reps his first 3 seasons to put him on every other team's radar. Without the Cardinals showing so much commitment to him his first 3 years he might not even be in the NFL right now.
Hightower hate aside, idk how the Shanahan does it, but he can take the tiest of running backs and turn them into a downhill runner in his system. Hightower was never close to that decisive and aggressive as a runner in Arizona.

Happy Dallas Week fans! One good shot to Romo's side by Brian early in the game and that'll be all she wrote. This new O-line by Dallas is begging to be cut to pieces by the defense. The Redskins O-line will rule the day. All signs point to a big Redskins win.

i dont know what it is but there is one thing i can say for certain!
Manny and all the other Redskin fans will talk like no other for the next few weeks and then when the season gets away from them like always and other people give it back to them, they will pull the "wow, you're so cool! making fun of a Rex Grossman led team

It's called football gents. And if you're not capable of taking the hits, especially as a quarterback, you shouldn't be on the field. No whining. Tony Romo is tough to be sure. But if he insists on playing next Monday with a fractured rib he should be prepared to face the consequences.

Would your life feel a little more complete if Romo was captured, thrown into a scorpion's nest, stripped naked of his own flesh, burnt to a stake, with his head fed to a nest of wild boars?
All of that won't be necessary. It will suffice just to have Romo knocked out of the game early if he's stupid enough to play Monday.
Hopefully Rob has some nice blitzes in store for Rex. Ware should get a sack or 2.
