I dont know but I always have this notion that high caliber supermodels are way smarter than the "I just had my boobs done and now I can be a model" types.

This topic is way more interesting than macs vs pc.

Actually, the most interesting part of this thread was C. Funt saying she/he is half-gay???

...then refusing to answer what that means....????

I think runway models are just smart enough to know not to act like a bimbo.

Speaking of runway models, this clip always makes me laugh.

I'm going to try out Ubuntu at some point soon. Seems like if nothing else it'll be fun to mess with.

Mac at work, PC at home. I Like both, but will stick with PC at home since I know a lot more my way around PC and it's a lot cheaper.

Don't know why BaselineBum thinks one cannot use bash, c-s ,... on mac, since one of the nice things about it.

I have a mac I bought a few years ago for school and it was a big mistake. It still runs really well and is way more durable than any PC I've owned, but I have to work extensively with Microsoft Access this semester for both my job and school and there's no version of access compatible with macs.

Every single time I have ever used a MAC, i felt dirty.

People say they are easy to use, intuitive and so much better. What a load of crap. You can't always full screen a window, that toolbar along the top is annoying, and do I need to mention the fact that you used to eject a CD by dragging it to the 'trash'?

For software that 'doesnt crash', a supposed advantage over Windows, it sure does crash a lot.

The mouse is so uncomfortable and bad for constant use. The Peoples response? Go and buy a PC mouse to use on your MAC ... like thats a good thing? WHY NOT JUST USE THE PC!?

It is SO much cheaper to build a kick arse PC than it is a MAC. Oh guess what, apart from like Final Cut Pro - just about ALL of the software available in the world is better or made for running on a PC.

Macs are for people that are suckers for advertising. Good job dancing silhouettes!

Oh wait, I thought of an advantage of Macs... their monitors are 90dpi, so better resolution. Bravo!

******** You can ALWAYS full screen a window...ALWAYS...either from the menu or from just dragging the lower right corner and size it as big as you please....

For software that 'doesnt crash', a supposed advantage over Windows, it sure does crash a lot.

****My first mac was in 1994...and since then...I NEVER had a crash....a virus...or any problems...

The mouse is so uncomfortable and bad for constant use. The Peoples response? Go and buy a PC mouse to use on your MAC ... like thats a good thing? WHY NOT JUST USE THE PC!?

*********** SUPER WRONG!!!!******** can you say MAGIC MOUSE?
So intuitive....no extra buttons...just use your fingers for everything...you want to scroll? use your right index finger in an up and down motion just like if you had that dummy wheel....only there is no wheel to get dusty...just swipe...and presto a whole page can fly up or down...want to scroll fast...move your finger fast....slow?...move -finger-slow....

want to go to the previous page?...two fingers to the left at the same time...next page? two fingers to the right....right click? right tap...etc....

which seems more natural and user friendly?

    Rest my case.

It is SO much cheaper to build a kick arse PC than it is a MAC. Oh guess what, apart from like Final Cut Pro - just about ALL of the software available in the world is better or made for running on a PC.

*****WRONG AGAIN!!!! ---Every hollywood studio---music and movies---use Apple for editing, movie projects...etc....
Garageband and Logic Pro are superior to any pc music software...Final Cut Pro...etc....

Macs are for people that are suckers for advertising. Good job dancing silhouettes!

Wrong! Macs are a small percentage of computers in the usa....everyone else is afraid of the new...until they switch to Macs...then they see the light....

Oh wait, I thought of an advantage of Macs... their monitors are 90dpi, so better resolution. Bravo!
