So, they wanted to burn the bridge with the one conference who was welcoming them with open arms, and, if joined, would make them bank while guaranteeing them a top-3 football program and historic levels of national exposure?
If this was the case, they obvious lacked foresight, since, I think almost everyone sees the writing on the wall that Missouri has eyes for elsewhere, and while TCU and BYU are nice stopgaps, they likely aren't anything more than a finger in the leaking dam.
