so now all we have to do is win the series at home vs Seattle and get to celebrate in front of our fans.
So we can clinch tomorrow, but not with a win, since we play a couple hours before the Angels. I hope both the Rangers and Angels win tomorrow so that we can clinch with a win on Saturday. Gonna get tickets for that game to go along with the ones I already have for Sunday.
yeah..I was going to go to bed all depressed, thinking we couldn't gain a game tonight...forgot the Angels were playing. NIICCCEE!! I don't care when we clinch..as long as we do it before the Angels series..I'd love to see how the Angels play knowing they can't win the division. I know they'll probably still be playing for the Wild Card, but it'll be nice going into the series in "Who's Your Daddy?" mode.

Me too. Don't get me wrong. I'm not "cheering" for the Angels. Just following the gameday on MLB.com not caring that much. Either way, I plan to get tickets for tomorrow.

If you have MLB network, turn it on. They have been showing periodic live coverage of A's-Angels and even have a cam at our ballpark. They just said that if Oakland wins, they will have coverage of our celebration.

@ our B team knocking around Felix Hernandez. I got so sunburned at the game today. And I'll get even more burnt tomorrow I'm sure.
Game was crazy...I was watching it and we were down 2-1...had to go into town, so I got a couple of things together, grabbed my keys, got in the car, listened to one song, turned on the game, and we were ahead 7-2...I swear it couldn't have been 10 minutes and we had scored 6 runs...
It was less than 10 mins. I think 8 straight runners reached base. Everybody and their momma was getting hits off Felix.
And then Young delivered the KO by hitting a line drive right at Felix's forearm that knocked him out of the game. Even before our big inning, we had two hits every inning. We just couldn't get runs home. Once we finally did, it was like an avalanche.
3 more outs, and the Angels are officially face ed out of the postseason at the hands of the Rangers.
